PBI®Alloy(NC) : PBI®/PEEK Alloy

Features :
- By combining PEEK resin renowned for its high performance as extrusion material with PBI resin for its excellent characteristics, a new and highly attractive extrusion molding material has been created. TPS-PBI® Alloy has a sea-island structure. The PBI® "islands" are embedded in a "sea" of PEEK, improving its thermal resistance and mechanical strength. 
- The PBI®/PEEK Alloy makes injection molding and extrusion molding possible, which were difficult to realize with PBI resin only.
- High thermal resistance with heat distortion temperature of 300°C.
- Low impurities content similar to either PBI® or PEEK only. Having low level of released metal and low outgas, PBI®/PEEK is adopted as parts for handling silicon wafers. 
- Excellent abrasion resistance without lubrication. 
- Good machinabilty.
