PE 500 High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (HMWPE) is a high-performance thermoplastic with a molecular weight higher than standard HDPE. It combines outstanding toughness, wear resistance, and impact strength with excellent chemical and corrosion resistance. PE 500 maintains high mechanical stability and dimensional accuracy even under continuous use. It is non-toxic, easily machined, and has very low friction, making it suitable for applications that require sliding contact or heavy mechanical stress. Compared with PE 300, PE 500 offers superior impact resistance, better wear performance, and longer service life.
